Biography
Richard Semanda Founder and promoter Geriatric Respite Care Foundation Uganda, Ambassador Commonwealth Association for the Ageing (Commonage) Uganda as well as Board of Director International Association of Housing and Services for the Aging (IAHSA). Trained from Kampala International University and United Nations International Institute on Ageing in Malta. Advisor National Network of older persons of Uganda Partial trainer of health and non-health professionals Hospice AFRICA – UGANDA. Conducts training programs in Gerontology, carried out a research with WHO Geneva Department of Ageing and Life Course on the health experience of older persons in Kampala. Chairman Rise And Shine Dyslexic Organization (RASDO).
